Satsuki,the daughter of Taira No Masakado got lost on on the roadside when he was crusaded against.
The surviving Satsuki visited the shrine of Kibune Myojin at Ushimi with deep‐seated grudge.
Visiting the shrine repeatedly,she gradually transformed into a ghost and named herself as Takiyasha.
It is said to be the origin of Ushi no kokimairi.
